Explosion!
There was an extraordinarily loud "pop" from the Sports computer -- I think Chelsea's trying to kill me. Either that or the computer that hasn't turned on in longer than we haven't had a sports editor is about to explode and put us all out of last-issue misery.
Yet the Toban has the money to get me ridiculously drunk last night, for the entertainment and appreciation of one volunteer.
Glad to see our priorities are in order.
Also: this is my 98th post. I'm on #99 on the CUP forums. I'm the biggest dork of all time. And explode!

So what if the computers are old and ancient, that's beside the point - free drunk is awesome!
What's the story with the volunteer?
It was a "volunteer appreciation" party, but only one showed up. Unless you count last year's EiC. So, 1.5 volunteers. It was sad. We drank beers and played trivial pursuit in the Toban office.
