I hate telephones.

I hate the types of conversations that are had on telephones. I hate that I can't see the other person, and they can't see me, and that this robs the conversation of an entire dimensionality. I hate talking into telephones.

But, mostly, though I generally enjoy listening, I genuinely hate listening to telephone-ramblings.

Can't we all just get along (and use email for long-distance conversations?).

Bah.
