Thoughts of the day:

1. I like writing news. I hate money. I'm applying for a job that I'm not qualified for, and that in no way involves writing news, but does require me to schmooze and deal with money. Why?

2. People who don't reply to important emails or important phone calls can bite me.

3. Biking after you've been drinking is hard. Biking after you've been drinking and biking all weekend, then at a board meeting, then had a beer very quickly, then tried to race a car and almost won, is much harder (actually that's a thought of yesterday).

4. Sleeping in after said weekend is pretty much the best thing ever.

6. When you finally get the person in #2 on the phone, and — just when you were starting to regret the decision made in the first of the emails — are reminded why you would never work for him anyway (and why you decided to apply for the job in #1), tea tastes twice as good.
