News, news, oh news.

OTTAWA (CP) - It's one of those periodic Parliament Hill contretemps guaranteed to inflame the blogosphere and consume water cooler conversation in the national capital, while leaving the vast majority of Canadians puzzled or indifferent.: "National News"

And I want to work for these people?!

In good news, one of my ex-towns (Clarke knows which one I'm talkin' bout) may finally get a doctor thanks to the government allowing temporary registration with the College of Physicians. They had 2 doctors when I lived there, and they saved my life multiple times (what can I say, I'm clumsy!) -- but were down to one for a number of years, and most recently had none at all.

I got to listen to Tremonti grill health minister Tim Sale on the CBC this afternoon, failing to see why this is a good thing, as if it's hard to understand. The real question: why did it take so long to accept that nurse practitioners and foreign doctors might not be a bad thing?!

And I had an hour-long debate with my dad, essentially over whether I'm left-wing enough. The verdict was no, and he suggested I move to Kelsey with him to smarten up. The socialist princess has growed up.

That's all for now, folks.
