High tech as religion

In case you forgot, high tech has long had its own deeply religious sects — just ask what Mac users or Linux users feel about Windows, and you'll get a response that is decidedly religious, not practical.: "globeandmail.com : The real stars of the Super Bowl", Jack Kapica.

I like it! ... But groundhog day as the first non-denominational religious holiday, I'm not so sure about.

What about people who don't like groundhogs -- shouldn't they get a holiday, too?
